The We Energies Foundation is thrilled to donate more than $12,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee in partnership with the Admirals Power Play Foundation. This season, the We Energies Foundation pledged a $50 donation for every Milwaukee Admirals power play, and the Admirals Power Play Foundation agreed to match it. Together the pledges are called Power Plays for Possibilities.
After a successful regular season, We Energies president Mike Hooper and representatives of the Admirals Power Play Foundation presented Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee with a check for $25,000 at a recent Admirals game.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is the largest youth-serving agency in the city. The nonprofit provides safety and support to thousands of kids every day in addition to meals, organized athletics and access to the arts.
The We Energies Foundation is proud to support hundreds of charitable groups every year. In 2024, the foundation donated $11.5 million in support of education, community and neighborhood development, health and human services, arts and culture, and the environment.
