The We Energies Foundation is celebrating a decade of the Ks for a Cause charitable giving initiative with a $21,000 donation to Kinship Community Food Center.

For 10 years in a row, the We Energies Foundation has pledged a $25 donation for every strikeout by a Milwaukee Brewers pitcher during regular season home games.

After another successful Brewers season with 840 strikeouts, the Kinship Community Food Center was presented with a check for $21,000 at one of the final regular season games.

Kinship Community Food Center works to address hunger, isolation and poverty in Milwaukee, using food as a gateway to build a sense of community. The nonprofit offers access to healthy food, wellness services and economic empowerment initiatives designed to help individuals and families achieve long-term stability.
