The We Energies Foundation is thrilled to donate more than $27,000 to the Bucks Health and Wellness Program as part of a season-long basketball promotion called Bench Mob Bonus. For the seventh year in a row, the We Energies Foundation pledged a $500 donation every time the home team bench players scored more than 40 points in a game.
After a successful regular season, Gale Klappa, chairman emeritus of the WEC Energy Group board, presented representatives of Bucks Health and Wellness with a check for $27,500.
Bucks Health and Wellness is a medical program sponsored by the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation. Its mission is to help address the obesity epidemic by bringing a holistic weight loss program to those unable to otherwise afford care and medications.
The We Energies Foundation is proud to support hundreds of charitable groups every year. In 2025, the foundation donated $12.6 million in support of education, community and neighborhood development, health and human services, arts and culture, and the environment.
