Voting is now underway to select the next We Energies safe digging “ambassadog.” The winner will help promote an important safety message: Doggone it! Call 811 at least three days before you dig.

We Energies customers from across the state submitted pictures of their adorable canines. The playful pups were picked, and it’s now down to the 10 top dogs.

Choose from:

Bailey Sue – A 7-year-old foster fail from Caledonia who likes digging for chipmunks and melting her neighbors’ hearts.

Bob Uecker – A 6-year-old from Racine who likes to swim, run and eat almost anything — except oranges.

Bodhi – A 6-month-old pup from Wauwatosa who likes to dig in the garden, jump in his pool and then roll around in the holes he’s created.

Bria – A 9-month-old puppy from St. Francis who loves to destroy toys and make her humans laugh daily.

Clara – A sweet pup from St. Francis who has a nose for adventure. Her favorite activities include chasing her favorite squeaky toy, snuggling and posing for photos.

Eddie Spaghetti – A 5-year-old from Greenfield who loves to go to the beach with his sister Mia and dig holes.

Knight – A 5-year-old from Menomonee Falls who’s always quick to fetch a ball, snag a treat or dig in the dirt.

Mame – A 6-month-old from Germantown who loves to swim, play with friends and go shopping with her humans.

Wilbur – A 7-month-old from Mount Pleasant who loves to chase birds and other dogs. His owners say he’s the always the life of the party.

Zoey – A 3-month-old from Elkhorn who loves to snuggle her humans and eat leaves.

Now, you have the paw-some responsibility of voting for the ulti-mutt winner. Cast your vote at we-energies.com. Customers can vote as many times as they like between now and 11:59 p.m. Monday, July 28.

The next ambassadog will be featured in a billboard blitz on Aug. 11 (8/11 day), and featured in the company’s safe digging awareness campaign all year long.
