Temporary road closure in Yorkville and Paris due to natural gas project

As part of ongoing efforts to upgrade natural gas facilities in southeastern Wisconsin, We Energies is installing new natural gas mains along CTH KR near the I-94 West Frontage Road/Sylvania Avenue/120^th Avenue in Yorkville and Paris. This work will require some temporary road closures.

Starting Monday, Oct. 25, a portion of both the westbound and eastbound lanes of CTH KR will be closed between South Sylvania Avenue/120^th Avenue and 144^th Avenue for approximately two weeks.

Signs will be posted directing drivers to a detour route using Burlington Road/WI 142 between South Sylvania Avenue/120^th Avenue and 200^th Avenue/US 45.

Access to properties along CTH KR will remain open throughout the duration of the project. If necessary, We Energies will coordinate directly with property owners before impacting any driveway access.

The natural gas upgrade will ensure We Energies can provide safe and reliable natural gas service for years to come. All work is expected to be completed by December 2021.
