Now that the holiday season is upon us, We Energies is making spirits bright — literally! The company and its foundation are proud to sponsor some of the state’s most spectacular holiday light displays.

Here are just a few of the family-friendly festivities the company and its foundation are proud to be a part of this year:

Cheer District — Illuminated by the We Energies Foundation, Deer District will transform into Cheer District Nov. 17 with the lighting of the official City of Milwaukee Christmas tree. In addition to the city’s tree, there will be over 30 lit trees throughout the plaza surrounding Fiserv Forum.

Christmas in the Ward — Meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and their reindeer in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward on Friday, Dec. 1. The We Energies Foundation is a gold-level sponsor of the Christmas in the Ward tree lighting ceremony, which will take place at 6 p.m. in Catalano Square.

Enchantment in the Park — Visit Washington County’s premier holiday lights event starting Nov. 24. Walk, drive or take a carriage ride through more than a million LED lights, sponsored in part by the We Energies Foundation.

Fox Cities Festival of Lights — Sip hot chocolate as you stroll through the Fox Cities Festival of Lights in Darboy Community Park in the Village of Harrison. The We Energies Foundation is helping to sponsor the beautiful wooded trails, illuminated with a holiday-themed light display.

Kapco’s Kids2Kids Christmas — Give back to kids in need while getting in the holiday spirit at Kapco’s Kids2Kids Christmas in Grafton, sponsored by the We Energies Foundation. All visitors are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to a child in need.

Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival Check out “Santa’s Celebration Square,” powered by the We Energies Foundation in downtown Milwaukee. The interactive display is located in Zeidler Union Square at 4th and Michigan streets. We Energies has been a sponsor of the Holiday Lights Festival since it began more than two decades years ago.

Wild Lights For the third year in a row, the Milwaukee County Zoo will be lit with hundreds of thousands of glittering lights along a path filled with animal-themed displays, all powered by We Energies. This year, it’s bigger and brighter than ever.

Winter Wonders — Visit the Boerner Botanical Gardens to take part in Winter Wonders. The drive-thru event sponsored by the We Energies Foundation kicks off Nov. 24. Take in the beauty of over a million LED lights along a 1.4 mile-scenic route.
