We Energies has restored power to nearly 100,000 customers after a tornado and severe storms with 70 mph wind gusts tore through southeastern Wisconsin Friday night.
Hundreds of people, including crews from across the state, worked around the clock to safely and quickly get the lights back on.
Crews were able to restore power to more than 75% of affected customers by late Saturday, 97% of affected customers by late Sunday and the remaining customers on Monday.
The company thanks its customers for their patience and for the kind words and gestures shared with their crews in the field.
